Gf's Sister Graduated from Verona High School today.  Got some good ol pics of the family during their party with a 35mm 1.8 Nikon my buddy let me borrow.  Pretty neat.  Enjoy

Tweeter/Horn Fail Roland KC 550

So I bought this Roland KC 550  back in January and already blew a tweeter.  Not sure what I did but It definitely is not working now.  It must have happened during a show at Vintage Stock in Joplin.  I didn't notice anything until i got home and noticed my drum kit sounded really muddy through it.  I played some music through it and realized nothing was coming out of the tweeter.  I plugged in my whole system last night and heard it come in and out for a second so my thought was that a wire came loose I began to take it apart but no sign.  looked for new tweeters and they are around 40 bucks...not too bad but kinda crazy since i bought this thing 4 months ago. I contacted a guy in Springfield and he said it would be 40  bucks in labor plus the cost of the part...good deal?  Here are some pics  :)

The Wolf and the Wolverine : New Single: Move

The Wolf and the Wolverine came out with another single entitled "Move" Check it out!  We should be playing a lot more shows now that I'll be graduating this May.  We are in the works of getting our album together and getting it recorded.  Should be complete by the end of the summer.  Enjoy!

Log Cabin Senior Project

Log Cabin has been coming along quite well... I've created a t-shirt design, a website incorporating a social media site within LogCabin called "CampFire" where all Log Cabin's community can come together create forums, and talk amongst each other creating connections and "talking shop" about either tutorials the site provides or what is happening in design/web at the time.  It's been fun and wish I could put every second of my day into it, but with life, school, and work, Log Cabin ends up getting about 40 percent of my time.  Not bad but I see where extra time is needed.  All good though I really am liking the look and feel of it.  This is where I am with "2 months" aka 50 hours into the machine.  Probably have another 30 hours to go.  In the real world that is a mere 2 week project :) haha

Here it is pretty rough still but will update when I finish.  Enjoy my little hackers ;)

How long has Darth Vader been a tool?

I am way outta my area of expertise when I mention Star Wars, but I was watching some of the Super Bowl ads and had to freeze frame this.. Has Darth Vader worn this silly necklace the whole time? Does it have some kind of meaning? What was the prop man/woman thinking when Darth walked on set...hey he's missing his tool necklace?  My opinion about something like this is about as relevant as anybody's knowledge of politics, but thought I would throw this out there.  oh BTW has anybody seen the previews for Tim and Eric's Billion Dollar Movie, I heard it was going to get an Oscar...

Wait...Did like 4 seconds of research..So its holding his cape... But the pictures below shows a dramatic difference between the commercial and his actual attire.  The links are far fewer than the commercial and more industrial looking...Man this is almost too much attention to detail for a person that has never even watched a Star Wars movie...

Still I will still say that the Super Bowl Ad chains make him look like a huge pansy.

Wolf and Wolverine Rap Battle

The Wolf and the Wolverine are in a battle to play SXSW this year, so we entered a competition with Spicy Evolution Music.  On their Facebook they announced that 2 bands that create a 30 second rap about why they or the band they are representin' would get to hit the stage during SXSW.  We saw this and took a stab at it.  Feel free to stop by and cheer us on, on their Facebook.  They will choose the winners on Tuesday Feb. 28th.  We are heading down to SXSW either way so it should be quite an adventure.

PS Vita

This ad campaign kinda scares me.  I'm not much of a gamer, but I feel as if they aren't asking, but demanding me not to quit playing video games...I'm the kind of guy that says "I will cuz I want to, not because you're telling me to" so this ad is basically making me not want to join in on this for the mere fact of demand.

Plus the actual TV spot states that you can play on your TV and then take it on the go with this new game console.  To me it is like they are saying "Hey we are an addiction, so we'll help feed the fire" How bout you play games when you have nothing else to do at your house and when you leave you go enjoy the presence of friends family, outdoor activities and other things that make life grand...Am I too much of an old-timer on this issue? There wasn't a day when my mom had to find me and tell me to be in by sunset.  What is happening to the youth?
