So they sent me the update on the billboards for the I Am Joplin event that is going on today from 6:30-10pm in Joplin.  Some big news people from ABC are going to be there I think.  Pretty cool stuff.  It was a lot of fun creating the visuals for this event.

Closer now to the event The crew needed something solid to bring in the peeps of JOMO.

Late last night I was informed that the billboard that I created for the event was up so I took a gander downtown to see it.  They provided me a shot as well.

I've been busy.

So long story short... I've been swamped.  Between making a website from scratch using wordpress as a cms, Biology, working 8to5, Olive Garden on the weekends and creating the marketing and graphics for the I AM JOPLIN event in town I have been need to say...swamped.  earlier last week after all the details started to roll in from this event in town I was requested to come up with a logo, billboard(electronic), signage, theme, color scheme, and all other promotional material...time deadline...3 days.  Day one I created the logo, day two I created the billboard, and day three was the flyer for Third Thursday...Now that all that is done and the flyers have been printed I have some time to type.  The billboard goes out as I type and the flyers are being sent to the hands that need it today.  I am now in connection with  Wal-marts marketing team to coordinate the event since they are part hosting it with us.  The next couple of weeks will be interesting in seeing how the stuff I design matches with theirs.  Here's what you'll be seeing around town if you live in Joplin.
