First idea for Bag for tradeshows in future. Looks like you are holding a skateboard when walking around. I will admit the wheels are a bit sketchy but i didn't want to put in too much detail if it is going to be thrown around...any whooser enjoy.

Found my new passion :)

I just started getting into it but I always knew I wasn't made for paper print design. I thought Web and still is a huge influence in what I want to do, the ability to touch and interact with thousands, millions of people is awesome. But if I must do print design I have a new medium to play with. 3d design is print it is online, and it is animation. With the skill sets I have been able to gain from Pitt in the last year it only seems right to move forward into the next medium. With photography, web, illustration, output, music creation, video under my belt I don't see why 3d can't top it off. To me it seems to connect all the mediums. You have your video from your animations you have your print in your still frames you have music that layers your visuals and you are able to share this all online. I will be spending a lot of my time this summer checking out a ton of tutorials and blogs especially Greyscale Gorilla.com Check it out if you have any interest in making your art come to life. The software is not any harder than Adobe's and the results are crazy awesome...Cinema 4d check it, get it, create it :)

So the Big ol Banner I created finally got to show its stuff in Singapore. It was sent to Canada over the weekend and was then shipped to Singapore with one of my bosses. Here are the quite interesting photos of the tradeshow with the Big ol Banner in Play.

New personal adventure

Through a couple events in my life recently I have found a strong fascination in 3d design. To mee it seems like the ultimatum for design digitally. So here is a video I will try to mock to get my feet wet. I some how have to get my hands on 3ds max... Hmm. Ok Go. Check back in 2 weeks:).

Had some filler work while waiting on this big ol banner to print...It has taken 8 hours to print this big ol thing and it might roll into tomorrow.  crazy stuff anyways I'm sitting here at ARC and was told to make a quality design for their design work.  It will be redesigned for a more professional look, a lil mis comunication but all is good.  The design only took me about 20 minutes.  I'll show you what was presented to me at first by my design boss, then what the sales person was actually looking for...quite humerous. Enjoy

Back to Web.

So cutting to the chase.  Internship has started.  Still working on my portfolio site.  Adding some functionality to the portfolio site, and creating E-Blasts at ARC.  These are mass emails that are HTML and CSS based that get sent out to a target market that we offer our discounts and promotions.  Pretty neat.  I've learned that patience is virtue.  I find myself waiting for emails and confirmations a lot of my day.  One thing on my agenda is to start researching and developing a new site for their Hardcore concrete brand.  This is all from scratch and they are asking for me to use a CMS platform...which one to choose...I've been doing some research and my personal favorite is wordpress, but they are looking for client based logins and such and I'm not sure Wordpress can handle the complexity.  Drupal? Joomla? heck .ASP ..ha I'm sure I'll find some time to really sit down and figure out what their mission for the site is and main purpose.  Also "The Great Race" in Joplin is kicking off and I am participating my graphics skills to help bring this together.  This should be a fun summer as long as my personal problems don't weigh it down.  My car is acting up and when I say that I mean it has a tendency to want to touch other cars...hard.  I've gotten in 2 wrecks this year....this one was not at all my fault but the guy didn't have insurance so woohoo...anyways enough with the drama ..mama... for all you visual likers here are a few pics :)

So if you click on the image above and have looked at my previous posts and pictures you will notice that I have changed up my nav bar alittle by adding some flare to it ...adding video which i hope to some day make it from scratch but this will work until HTML 5 is in more house holds and I don't have to write code for 500 different browsers.  The cloud above illustrates all my social media input and you see it! A contact form. wahoo.  All the pages are now functioning the only thing that changes when you navigate pages are the location of the button at which the page is on, and the paragraphs in the body.  more to come.
